Hello bloggy Friends! Is me, TK for my mancat monday post.

You has seen lots of variations of this picshur. Dis me working on my lawn.

Butt, look at what is happenings!?! I has maded a nest.

I thinks my grass is getting too long for me to tends all by myself. So mommy sais she would helps me gives it a trims this week.

  

So I also wants to show you how Squashies and me selebrated Father's Day wif our most awesomest daddy! Our daddy is a very great golfer. Him plays on a league on the week days. Mommy sais it is his new work since he retires.

So here we are watching the USGA's US Opens on the TeeVee. We was cheering for Phil, but he not wins this time.

We loves our daddy!

Oh... and there was STEAK on the barbie, and we gots to has some too.

Femme Friday

Sweet Praline says we can have a "Femme Friday" for us ladycats. Because this is my first lady post I thought I would show you "Grrl Time" with mommy and me.  This is when mommy and I go in the "Grrl Time" room and we fixes ourselves so we look nice for all the fellows. Sometimes I take a bath, but mostly I snoopervise mommy's efforts.

I sit here on the cool marble counter, while mommy givers her furs, face and teefies a brushing. She has many different brushes to use, so sometimes it takes awhile.

I think you missed a spot in your painting mommy!

Once mommy is done brushing herself, I get "Mack time". That's when I walk back and forth along the edge of the counter, and say "MAAACCCCK" really loudly so she remembers that I need brushings too. I never stand or sit still when being brushed, I have to pace so mommy has to chase me. It is wonderful fun.

When we are done, mommy picks me up, which I used to be ascairt of, and puts me on the floor. She makes sure she doesn't let go of me until all my feet are touching.

We loves our Grrl Time together!

A lot of the times Squashies gets in my bed when I nots in it.  I not likes to disturb her when she's sleeping.  So when I is ready to nap, a lot of times I end up in her little bed.  I not fits so good.

This picshur is from the winter, sees the snows out the window?

But today we sleeps in our own beds. I forgets how comfy it is in my big-boy, mancat beds.

     I thinks Sqaushies might needs a big-girl bed too.... Maybe mommy can move some of this work stuff off the desk so we can has 2 big beds...

Well kitties, you was so supportive of Squashies when she mitts she falled off the cat tree, I desides I will makes a confesshun too.  Dis a little bit embarassing.

Every night when I is a good boy, and not eats Squashies' food we gets a treat. And the other day I was tryings to be very good, I not jump up on the tables or anything.  I just sits there and listens to Squashies noms her food. Is very hard...

But I not do it...

But then, but then, but then...

Mommy goes upstairs and not gives us our treat! Can you believes it?
Dis my confesshun, mommy was very bad! Does you still love me?

Mancat Monday

I know it seems like all Mancat Mondays is about my lawn. But seriously this all I dews atween naps and nommings. Is very hard wurk!

He was brought-up feral; He was a Mancat.

He didn't like to be held and rarely crawled into a lap, but when he was in the house, he wanted to be near us. He loved brushings, and he always slept in bed next to my head. 

Happy 4th Birthday Midnight. We miss you.

Truthful Tuesday

Hi Bloggie friends, Squahies here. I want to tell you about something that is a little bit embarrassing that happened to me.

Background: In the evening I like to sit at the top of the big cat tree so I can keep an eye on TK, who gets a bit feisty after he gets his shot. He always wants to rassle with me, but he is a lot bigger and sometimes he gets carried away, and I don’t like it, not one bit.

So this weekend I got a manicure. And when I went to get in the tree, I forgot that my fingernails were a lot shorter… So I made my usual approach. As you can see is a very long way for a little kitty like me.

And THEN... This happened!?!

I have an embarrassed. I've never missed my jump before.

I'm only telling because I know mommy had the flasybox, so I might well be upfront about it. But it's only because of my fingernails... You still love me don't you?

Two Hungry Mommies!

Hello Bloggie Friends, TK here. I wants to show you something amazing that is happening in my domain.
Mommy sais that when you is a mommy with babies, you has to eat a lot to makes milk foods to feeds them. She sais the mommies not likes to be away from their babies for a long time so they is opportunistick eatters. Dis means they wants their food as fast as possible so they can get back to their little ones.

So I tells you before that we feeds the kitties that not has homes in my domain.  Daddy puts kitty foods next to the tree that also has the birdy feeder. This a good place cause there is a fense and lots of underbrush for thems to hide when something bad comes. This way they not get eatted.

One days I is looking out over my domain and I jumps up in alert. My tail was twitching and mommy looks out and grabs the flashybox. And dis what she sees:

The deers eatted the birdies foods!

Den a few minutes later, she sees dis! (You can clicky to biggarfy) Is a racoon who eatted the kitty-kibbles!


Is funny how they is not worried about each others. And is the little one is the meat eatter too. Is hard to see but both these beautimous girls has swollen areas dat my mommy sais mean they is mommies.

Woods, definitely woods. I like the beach, but I'm not fond of the sun. It wouldn't do to ruin my deathly palor.

Not literally, but I talk to my plants, and I touched the tree of my childhood, to thank it for falling away from the house after a big rain.

6. Growing your own veggies or nipping to the supermarket?
Both, veggies are the best!

7. Have you found anyone exciting in your family tree?
My mother used to swear that her side of the family was releated to Attila the Hun, but no one has ever proved it.

8. Slap up meal in a posh restaurant or fish ‘n’ chips from the wrapper?
Both have their place. Eatting is a mechinisim of socializing to me, so if I'm with good company, the food is serving its purpose.

9. Which element do you most resonate with, Earth, Air, Fire or water?
Fire. Shi, manonmayakosa, spirit!

10. Do you believe in fairies?
I love the whimsical notions; but I'm too much of a realist to believe, in the spirit that the question is asked. That doesn't mean I can't and don't pretend at playful moments.

Cow Kitty Badge

Hi this is Squashies, TK is letting me do this part because Andy is having his mama make badges espsecially for white kitties with spots, just like Andy and me. He is calling it the "Cow Kitty" badge. Isn't that a great name? He is such a wise and handsome kitty.

Andy says that a cow kitty is:
"A type of black-and-white bicolor cat is nicknamed "cow cat" or "moo cat" (for a perceived resemblance to Holstein cattle). It has big black patches over a mostly white body, often with a black mask over the head."

This is how you can get one:

To be considered for Andy's "cow kitty" badge, you must be:
 1.  Predominately white...in other words have a lot more white than black on your body.
 2.  Have black patches on your body
 3.  Can have black markings on the head and face.
 4.  Tail can be black.

Mancat Monday

A mancat has to keeps those toy mousies in line! Once you gets them trapped, you has to makes fun of them by sticking out your tongue. This how mancats show their domino-ness!

The grass is always greener in my deck box

So one of the biggest things that has happens for me over the last few weeks is... is... *drool* MY lawn!  That's right my friends, I has my own personal lawn!  Daddy usually plants tomatos in the deck box for the beans to eat. But this year he is only goning to plant one tomato and the rest of the box he putted in wheat-grass seeds.

As you might imagine, with my grass addicshun, I has been very eggsited! Every day I goes out as much as I can to see how it is growing, and noms trims the tops, just so it not gets too tall.  Daddy sais him not going to brings the lawn mower up here to cut my lawn, so I has to take care of it.

Mommy sais it is not so good for our neighbor ladee who likes that we has extra tomatos in the fall for her to has... I sais they should buys her some tomatos at the farm stand if she feels so bad.

I hopes you enjoyed looking at my lawn. I think I might hold a tea party once the weather is nicer, you all will bes invited!

We gets a reward!

Our dear friends over at Tekorin the NEKO gives us a reward. We are so very honored that they likes our blog, cause their blog is so amazing. You should really go checks them out, they dids fairytails with the kitties as the actors! They are always very fun to read.

So now we has to tell 7 things about us.
By Squashies:

1. I have 14 spots, one of them is a secret spot that no one knows about. (I will be revealing this spot to the world soon.)

2. Even though I hiss at him most of the time, sometimes I lick TK's head when he doesn't feel well.

3. I am a very messy eater. I get my noms all over me and the table where I eat. When I am done nomming, I will take a long time to clean myself off.

4. I is very meticulous about my furs, I spends a lot of time licking and licking to make sure every hair is in the right place.

5. I loves to get brushed. My mommy and me has a ridual every night after dinners where I gets to sit in her lap and get my brushings.

6. I loves to walk on my leash. I walks right next to my mommy when on hard surfaces but I runs and plays when in grass.

7. I have had these two precious kitties for 20 months, in which time I have taken over 1,000 pictures of them.
