The V.E.Ts

Hi Blog Friends, TK here.

This is me sitting in MY seat, going to the V.E.T.s. As you can see I'm busy looking around because we were at a light, and there is lots to see!

Mostly when we are driving I get down like this so I don't fall over or anything. Sometimes I get in the back seat and lounge about.

So the bad news is that I didn't lose ANY weight. Can you believe that? It just makes me want to cry.  I've been on this 2 can Fancy Feast diet for a long time. And I was losing, but now I seem to have got stuck.

Mommy sais I just has to stay strong through the plateO. She sais she gets stuck sometimes when she's on a diet too.  Oh well.

  3. ANY weight?...we get so sad when you found you didn't lose any weight after trying hard(sometimes maybe only feeling we tried hard,though)...

    Anyway,welcome back from the v.e.t!!

  4. You have just reached a plateau. The weight will come off in time. You are a lot different from me. I gained weight on 1 1/2 to 2 cans of Fancy Feast per day. OK, I also get dry food and a sardine, too. Just keep at it and don't get discouraged.

  6. I hate the D word. I have been at a plate-O ever since I started. Mum is starving me but nothing changes when she weighs me.

  7. My Mommeh seems to be stuck on a plat-oh on her diet, too. Dieting is hard.

  8. We're pretty impressed you weren't in a carrier, actually. Forget the "d" word. Unless you are dangerously overweight and at risk for heart disease and diabetes, you're okay! We all comes in different shapes and sizes, just like humans. :-)

  9. TK my dearest kitty!

I would never see you as "fat"!!!...after what I have seen in my life. Indeed, I put up my own post of a very fat kitty which we often see. To prove this, look at my link: http://theadventuresofmaxdog.blogspot.com/2009/10/toffee-goes-back-to-vet.html

Garfield is our VET's fattest kitty in South Africa (I think). If you could compete with this, then I will concede and say you are 'cuddly'. Until then...you are purrfect!!!
    Hang in there, dear kitty.

  12. Yep it is true, everyone hits plateaus sometimes on diets. From the pictures we think you look great, but we probably aren't the best judges since Lola is a bit pudgy! We hope things keep going well and that you don't have to get even less foods - that would stink!

  14. Bummer about your weight...Madi has a time maintaining too. We were told to cut her Fancy Feast down to about a 1/3 of a can a day...she also gets a total of 2/3s cup of Kibble.
Mom has a cousin in Olney, MD which is about 30 miles from Baltimore. She was wondering if you are anywhere near Olney?

  15. You are SO well~behaved in the car, King, Pandora, and Skeeter act like complete total idiots! Cricket doesn't care less. Sorry your weight has plateau'd, those last few are always the hardest!

  16. It's a plateau and you will start losing again soon, we think.

MEOWZA, it is so great that you don't have to go in a carrier!!!!!

  17. We don't care for that diet word either, especially when they get stuck like that. I think you're looking good!

  18. Yes, do not panic. You've just hit a plateau, like your mom said. We're all rooting for you.

PS -- You get to ride in the car without a PTU? Wow!

  20. TK, all we can advise is to hang in there and let the plate-O work itself out. But if someone were to ask us, we would say you don't need to lose any more weight.

  21. TK, maybes your mum needs to get you some more toys so you are keeping busy. I always pile on the weight over winter when there is lots of sleeping to be done, but I have lost some as I have been doing lots of running and jumping this summer.
