Squashies Update- Days 6 and 7

I am feeling much better!  I sure thank everyone for all the purrs.
Mommy and Daddy took me back to the Hospital for a follow-up on Friday evening, and guess what?  My PCV went up 2 points all by itself.  The doctors say this is good news, but they weren't willing to say it was great.  Well I think it is great, because I feel really good.

I got up the steps all by myself, (Mommy followed me, so I wouldnt fall,) but I didn't need her to spot me. I can jump up on my tree and get in and out of my favorite litter box too!  The best is that I got to have girl-times with my mom, and I jumped up all by myself.

I still don't like to get my pills and do my best squirming when it is time, but both Daddy and Mommy are getting better at giving me my medicine.  This is good because the doctor says I will have to take these pills for a very long time.

So I wanted to show you something... Look I have a mitten!

I know it has been all about me lately, but I want to report that TK and Pip are getting along really well together.  They run around the house and play all the time.  I like this, because they leave me alone!

Thanks to all my furends in the blog world. I can't thank you enough for all the wonderful help and care you have give us.

Love, Squashies

  26. Squashies, we're so glad you are doing better. Our mommy wanted to tell you about a pharmacy that custom makes medicines for kitties (people too probably). They made Mica Moo's medicine in a liquid so she wouldn't be traumatized by pills every day. Everything is a trauma for her. They have cat friendly favors like chicken, tuna and salmon. (I got tuna)
They are in Baltimore but the mom was too lazy to drive downtown and had them UPS the meds. They arrived the next day. Your vet can just call the prescription in and then they call you for payment method & shipping address. Its:

    Professional Arts Pharmacy
2015 Lord Baltimore Dr, Balt. 21244
    443-200-1200 or 800-832-9285

  29. It's good to read of your improvements, Squashies. Are your pills able to be crushed up? Perhaps put in food or, something that works with my cats, put in a big syringe with water? The last method may be a bit shocking to you, but a squirt of water into the mouth and it's done.

In any case, I hope everything continues to get better and better. Good luck to all there!

  34. I am so glad that you are feeling better and better. I know about beans getting good at giving pills. My Mom has gotten so good at it that I hardly ever get a chance to spit it out again. I hope you get as used to it as I have and don't squirm so much. It's really not so bad.
