Mancat Monday

Hi Bloggie Friends, it's me, TK, here for my mancat monday post!

Well Zombie Mombie finally makes the mistake she always worries bout- she knocks my insulin bottle on the slate kitchen floor. It breaks, of course. It didn't really stands a chance.

The problem is that it was 6am on Sunday. So then she has to waits for the farmacy to opens to get more. And I not had my shot.

Usually, when it is time to eats, mommy takes my bowl to the TeeVee room and sits on the couch so I can jumps on her lap to get my shot, then she puts my fud down in my spot so I can eats.  But this time she just puts my fud at my spot. I not knows what to do, so I just sits at her feets and waits for her to sit down, like always. So then mommy looks at me curious and she sits down so I can jumps up.  She gives me a cudddle, and puts me back down. Then I eated.

Then she leaves and when she comes back a long time later and I gets my shot and a TREAT!

Have a good day Bloggy Friends!

  2. We're glad you're okay, TK. We bet that was scary for your mom, too. You're a good mancat to wait for your shot, as usual, even though your routine was a bit different. And a bonus treat later--that's great!

  9. Those dang insulin bottles! Mommy used to do up a few day's worth of syringes at one time and then they were ready to go...she'd rub it in her hand for a minute to warm it up and then shoot Angel Cat Fuzzy.

BTW, Fuzzy lived to be 19 years old and he was diagnosed with diabetes at 12. He was a grand old ManCat.

  22. Wow TK we bet your mom was very freaked out about that, and it sounds like you were confused too. We are glad that you were able to get your shot later though - we know it is super important. Our mom said she always worries about that stuff when we have to take medicine - she once knocked over a whole bottle of Floyd's medicine (lucky for her she had a second one because the vets wasn't open til the next day)so she knows it is not fun for your mom. But it is all ok now, and since she did it now she should be able to avoid doing it again!
