Mommy sais that when you is a mommy with babies, you has to eat a lot to makes milk foods to feeds them. She sais the mommies not likes to be away from their babies for a long time so they is opportunistick eatters. Dis means they wants their food as fast as possible so they can get back to their little ones.
So I tells you before that we feeds the kitties that not has homes in my domain. Daddy puts kitty foods next to the tree that also has the birdy feeder. This a good place cause there is a fense and lots of underbrush for thems to hide when something bad comes. This way they not get eatted.
One days I is looking out over my domain and I jumps up in alert. My tail was twitching and mommy looks out and grabs the flashybox. And dis what she sees:
And den she sees Dis: (Mom shoots it through my windows so is not so clear.)
The deers eatted the birdies foods!
Den a few minutes later, she sees dis! (You can clicky to biggarfy) Is a racoon who eatted the kitty-kibbles!
Is funny how they is not worried about each others. And is the little one is the meat eatter too. Is hard to see but both these beautimous girls has swollen areas dat my mommy sais mean they is mommies.
We hopes you enjoys this veiw of my domain in the springs! We hopes that in a few weeks we can shows you the babies!
Has a great day bloggie friends!

How lovely to have deer in your back yard! We like raccoons too, but we know they can be nasty. It's like a Disney movie, right there at your house. LOL.
ReplyDeleteOh what wonderful pictures - and amazing that they don't mind each other. And it is great that they were able to find food to help them feed their own babies at your place - it is great you help out the other animals (and even some you didn't plan on!)
ReplyDeleteWow, that is pawsome, what a great view of the critters you have!!!
ReplyDeleteThose Mom's certainly are taking advantage of every bit of food htey can find!
ReplyDeleteToo funny! We just watch squirrels right now. Mom put our some blood meal around the garden so we don't get to see the deer anymore. They are scared by the smell.
ReplyDeleteThose are absolultely PURRecious pictures on those mommies! What a fantastic show you were treated to!
ReplyDeleteI think maybe the homeless kitties aren't getting much food. They are probably pregnant too. Poor kitties. I feed some strays too and I have to put lots in case the raccoons get it and the blackbirds like it too. It's rough getting fed outdoors. Too many hungry mouths. Hugs, Deb =^..^=x5
ReplyDeleteHow about that!! That would be great to see from our window, but we only see rabbits and birds and sometimes a cat from next door. Just don't get too close to that vishus deer!
ReplyDeleteWow! What great wildlife you have, a deer and a raccoon!
ReplyDeleteIt is a great thing that your Daddy does, putting food out for homeless kitties.
Right in your YARD!!
ReplyDeleteWonderful pictures of the deer & raccoon! We know if they're Mommies, they'll need all the food they can get!
ReplyDelete...But what about the homeless kitties??? What are they gonna eat??? We hope there's something left over!
